FAQ

How far in advance should I place my order?

  • We require a minimum of 4-6 weeks notice depending on the time of year, we recommend booking your custom order as soon as you know the event details. The earlier the better, last minute requests may be available but will require an additional fee.

Can you recreate a design?

  • We will use pictures for inspiration, however we rather add our artistic design and create something original.

How should I care for my desserts?

  • Cakes- should be stored in the refrigerator up until 1 hour (times may vary based on climate) before serving. Please allow your cake to fully come to room temperature prior to cutting.
  • Cupcakes- for same day consumption they are able to be placed on the table for display. If you plan to serve the next day follow the same steps as a cake.
  • Decorated sugar cookies- for same day consumption the cookies can be place on a table for display. If you plan to serve the next day, place the cookies in the freezer in an air-tight container and bring to room temperature prior to serving.

*Please note that dessert should not be left outdoors uncovered, due to our buttercream being a butter base we recommend leaving all of your desserts indoors.*

Do you ship?

  • Yes! We now ship our signature cookies. All items are listed under the ‘Shipped Desserts' tab.

    Do you deliver?

    • We can provide a delivery/set-up quote for weddings, tiered cakes, and large corporate orders. This will include travel time and set-up time, a contract will need to be signed by both parties.

I'm picking up my cake, how should I make sure it stays safe during transport?

    • The safest place for your cake is on the floor of your backseat, an even flat surface with minimal room for the cake to shift. In the summer we recommend the passenger seat floor, so the cake is able to get direct air conditioning. Please do not place your cake on the seat or someone's lap.
    • A well-conditioned vehicle is needed, our buttercream has a butter base, if it is too soft/warm it can begin to melt ruining your beautiful design.
    • Always drive carefully, drive a little slower around potholes, sharp turns, and any bumps as much as possible.
    • Please note- Once the cake leaves our kitchen, we are no longer held responsible for any damage caused during transportation.
